S. Thomas Throne

President

S. Thomas (Tom) Throne is the President of Cowboy State Title and is based out of the Sheridan, Wyoming office. Tom is also licensed to practice law in North Dakota and Wyoming. While he has primarily practiced law in Wyoming, his focus has been heavily centered on real property law and natural resources. Tom has practiced law in Sheridan since 1979 and is the managing partner of Throne Law Office, P.C.
Tom’s emphasis on real property law led to him becoming one of the premier title attorneys in the Rocky Mountain region. Tom has worked on many litigation cases involving surface and mineral title issues. Tom has significant experience with title examination and review, contracts, and title curative. By joining Cowboy State Title, Tom is providing his superior title background to assist clients in a new, albeit similar way. Tom is looking forward to applying his legal knowledge and background towards the issues the clients of Cowboy State Title may face.
Tom is a life-long Wyoming resident, having grown up on the family ranch in Campbell County, Wyoming, which the family still owns. Whenever Tom is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, golfing, and traveling to see his four daughters and his grandchildren.
